Ole Miss bowl projections for Week 5 after win over Tulane

No. 13 Ole Miss is 80 percent complete with its September slate and remains perfect after its blowout win over Tulane on Saturday.
The 45-10 rout moved the Rebels to 4-0, including a pair of Southeastern Conference wins over Kentucky and Arkansas, and two wins away from ensuring they play a 13th game this season.
That is not this season’s goal, to just be bowl eligible, so there is more work to be done with No. 4 LSU (4-0, 1-0 SEC) coming to Oxford this weekend.
“Really, a pretty complete game to play against a team [in Tulane] who’s team and staff have played well and program,” Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said on Sunday. “They’re really well-coached and have good players and give people problems like Oklahoma a year ago. Or just a couple years ago beating USC. Pleased with how our guys performed. I asked them to play their most complete game of the year in what some would probably call a trap game. They responded and did that.”

Despite picking up a fourth straight win to start the season the bowl projections continue to stay steady for Ole Miss. A win over LSU this weekend would certainly alter the trajectory of the postseason for the Rebels as they move into their first bye week of the season next week.
