On the latest episode of “The Flagship”, presented by College Corner, everyone’s favorite Associated Press writer is back to fire up the DeLorean. David Brandt regales us with tales of Houston Nutt, Jevan Snead, Daverin Geralds and offseason hype.

We discuss the Ole Miss team 15 years ago which had Top 10 buzz and how it compares to this year’s team which is in the thick of the College Football Playoff discussion.

Brandt and I also talk about the NFL Draft and which former Rebels you need to bookmark for the festivities in Detroit, Mich.

Ole Miss been ranked inside the Top 10 in each of the last three seasons.

“Sometimes you get too emotional when you’re just doing Xs and Os, as opposed to taking a step back and looking at the big picture,” Kiffin said on the latest edition of “Ivey League”. “‘These are the hard decisions to make,’ whether that’s what players to keep or invest into or what coaches. We’ve had to let coaches go during these four years, and those have been tough decisions. But it’s part of the job.”
