Indiana safety Louis Moore makes it 3-for-3 for Ole Miss, commits to Rebels

Indiana safety Louis Moore made it official Monday, announcing his commitment to Ole Miss via Twitter. Over the weekend, the Rebels landed Arkansas linebacker Pooh Paul and Illinois cornerback Taz Nicholson.
Moore played in 12 game for the Hoosiers this past year. During his two-year stint in Bloomington, he made a huge impact in the secondary for the Hoosiers. Last season was his best, though. He finished with 83 tackles, three forced fumbles and three interceptions.
Indiana fired head coach Tom Allen, meaning Hoosiers players were able to enter the portal before the window fully opened. Moore got a headstart and started fielding messages and calls from prospective suitors.

Ole Miss reached out and got it done.
Originally from Texas, Louis Moore was as productive as any during his short time at Indiana.
At Navarro College (Tex.), he played both wide receiver and safety. He grabbed 48 receptions for 713 yards and five touchdowns in 2020 and 2021. He also collected 18 tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup.
The Rebels will need more experience on the back end of a defense which potentially loses up to three or four contributors and/or starters. Moore would bring a ton of experience and leadership to a group which thrived in 2023. Deantre Prince is headed to the NFL, Demarko Williams entered the portal and DeShawn Gaddie, DaiJahn Anthony and John Saunders could leave.
