Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin snagged another four-star prospect on Friday when St. Martin (Miss.) wide receiver Noreel White announced his commitment. So naturally, we bring on On3’s assistant scouting and rankings analyst Cody Bellaire to break down his game and what he brings to the Rebels.

Last weekend, Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss put the SEC on notice when it landed Lake Cormorant (Miss.) four-star defensive lineman Kamarion Franklin. Now the staff has done it again in the Magnolia State with the addition of the versatile offensive weapon in White.

The 6-foot-1, 190 pound wideout does it all at the high school level, playing quarterback, running back, wide receiver, kick returner and defensive back. But White is set to be the next big thing on offense in Oxford.

White is the No. 310 overall prospect and No. 52 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average which utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in Mississippi.

Cody Bellaire also gives his scouting report on Trever Jackson and Ole Miss commit Kamarion Franklin.

Despite a lot of buzz around Pittsburgh and Miami earlier, Jackson’s final grouping has a different look to it. Demond Williams Jr. decommitted from Ole Miss and eventually committed to Arizona. The day after he reopened his recruitment, Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weis Jr. reached out quickly to Jackson.

As a first-year starter at West Orange (Fla.), the 6-foot-3, 190 pound Jackson threw for 1,559 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also ran for 306 yards and six touchdowns.

And finally, Bellaire gives his thoughts on Franklin and where things stand with his game. Franklin is the nation’s No. 37 overall prospect, per On3’s Industry Ranking. He is the 7th-ranked defensive lineman and the top player in Mississippi.

The first-team all-state selection finished his junior year with 73 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and a school-record 17 sacks. He also chipped in 48 quarterback pressures and 27 quarterback hits. He will almost certainly draw double and triple teams, but at 6-foot-5, 260 pounds it might not matter.
