Preseason accolades continue for Ole Miss with Week 0 kicking off the 2025 college football season this weekend.

The Rebels do not start for another 10 days but Wednesday’s reveal of the first-ever Top 300 List by the Panini Senior Bowl continued to signal the experience and talent across its roster.

Ole Miss made up three percent of the list with 10 players and was one of five teams to have 10 players or more represented. LSU led the way with 14 players followed by Alabama (13) and then Oklahoma and Penn State joined the Rebels with 10 players each.

The 10 Rebels on the list are:

Perkins – listed as a linebacker on the Ole Miss roster – is listed as a defensive lineman on the Top 300 list, which could mean nothing or it could be how the Senior Bowl staff and scouts might view him come NFL Draft prep season.

This was the first year the Senior Bowl, which changed its title sponsor from Reese’s this Summer, opted to release a list such as this one. The list represents draft-eligible players only who are viewed by the Senior Bowl as the best in the country.

“We decided to trim our watchlist from 850 to 300 to raise the bar and truly spotlight the top-tier talent across the country,” Senior Bowl Executive Director Drew Fabianich said in a statement. “Our staff has been working rigorously to identify the top talent in this year’s draft class and the players on this list have stood out so far, but this is just the beginning. This season is the most valuable part of our process and there is still plenty of football to be played. Our scouts will be on the road every week, tracking how these players perform and who continues to rise.”

The 2026 Senior Bowl will take place on January 31, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. CT inside the Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile. The game serves as part of the official start for players in their preparation for the NFL Draft, which is taking place in Pittsburgh next April.
