September rolls on and continues to be a tough start to the 2025 season for No. 17 Ole Miss with its second Southeastern Conference game in the first three weeks.

After knocking off Kentucky in Lexington last Saturday the Rebels return home to host Arkansas, kicking off a four-game home stand over the next five week — the first of two bye weeks sandwiched in on October 4.

Last week Ole Miss held on for a 30-23 win over the Wildcats, getting some revenge from last year’s three-point upset in Oxford. This Saturday the Razorbacks will be looking to do the same after a 32-point blowout in Fayetteville last November.

“Very competitive team coming in that’s got a lot of really good players and obviously the most important thing for a good team is a quarterback and they’ve got a really special one that’s really good and really a problem,” Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said on Wednesday. “So, we’re going to have our hands full with a defense that plays extremely hard and really, outside of our game for the most part, really held people down last year.”

Arkansas is opening up its SEC slate after a pair of blowout wins over Alabama A&M and Arkansas State to start its season.

The Rebels are currently a 7-point favorite over the Razorbacks on BetMGM. A line that has dropped through the week.
