Ole Miss vs. LSU: How to watch, TV channel, start time, odds

Ole Miss is still alive in the Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament and a win away from playing for the tournament championship. The Rebels are also working to try and lock up an ever moving bid to host a Regional next weekend.
In their way is LSU, which advanced after a 4-3 win over Texas A&M on Friday. This will be the first matchup between the two teams after they did not play a weekend series during the regular season. The winner will play the winner between Tennessee and Vanderbilt in Sunday’s championship game at 2 p.m. CT.
Baseball America has Ole Miss (39-18) back as a National Seed at No. 16 in its Saturday projections. A third win this week in Hoover should, hopefully, be enough to secure one of the 16 host sites.
Tigers head coach Jay Johnson took in the Rebels SEC Tournament opener against Florida on Wednesday to get a look at what was a potential, now reality, semifinal opponent.
“Certainly familiarity with their team from playing them forever. And they’re better this year,” Johnson said on Saturday. “They’re a really good team this year, and it’s a great win that they got today on one of the best teams in the country.”
LSU is a 1.5-run favorite according to Drat Kings.

OLE MISS IN THE SEC TOURNAMENT
The Rebels were picked to finish 15th in the 16-team SEC but are the No. 7 seed in the league tournament after finishing the regular season with a 16-14 SEC record.
Not since 2021 has Ole Miss finished with a winning SEC record.
Ole Miss was the tournament’s inaugural champion in 1977. The Rebels have won the tournament six times, most recently in 2018. The Rebels defeated LSU, 9-1, in the championship game.
