Ole Miss vs. Murray State: How to watch, start time, odds

The Oxford Regional begins today and for Ole Miss baseball it not only is a return to postseason play since winning it all in 2022, it is the first time Swayze Field is host to NCAA Tournament action since 2021.
Friday sees 2 Seed Georgia Tech and 3 Seed Western Kentucky start the day off with Ole Miss and 4 Seed Murray State closing out the opening day of the Oxford Regional. The nightcap is also a rematch from nearly three months ago.
The Rebels held off the Racers for an 8-7 win in 10 innings on March 5. But when the two teams meet this weekend there is not a lot of stock being put into that previous meeting.
“I think everybody’s different,” Ole Miss outfielder Isaac Humphrey said. “As the year goes on teams grow. Teams get better. At the end of the day, though, you got to show up and just like it’s a normal game. It doesn’t matter who we’re playing. …Everybody at this point is good. They’ve won a lot of games. Doesn’t matter who you play, where it is. They’re going to be good.”
Neither team saw the best pitching Ole Miss had to offer with midweek arms used and weekend starters held back. Rebels head coach Mike Bianco announced on Thursday that they are shifting the usual pitching rotation around, starting Riley Maddox in the opener and holding Hunter Elliott for, presumably, Saturday.
