Two drives for Austin Simmons and they have resulted in an interception and a three and out. The energy shifts when he is in there and hard to pinpoint why.

Rebels run the same play twice and the second results in a one-yard touchdown catch by Caleb Odom. It would have been a touchdown the first time, too, but Odom dropped the pass.

Lacy has now tied the single-season record with his 16th rushing touchdown, tying Quinshon Judkins. Now the question is will he come out in the third quarter to try and break it.

Chambliss and Cayden Lee connect for a 22-yard touchdown pass. Trinidad is 20-22 for 236 yards and a pair of touchdown passes in the first 20 minutes of the game.

Rebels defense forces Citadel to attempt a 46 yard field goal and misses. A few plays later Chambliss and Winston Watkins connect on a touchdown pass for 11 yards after it was tipped in the air then tipped again and Watkins caught it in the end zone.

Wright came back out from the locker room right after the Lacy score. He was walking a little slow but was still suited up and helmet on. Something to watch the next drive, or they sit him the rest of the day.

Lacy with his second touchdown run of the day. This one for 15 yards and he just hit the afterburners past the the Bulldog defenders.

The Rebels are going to have their way today on offense. It will be up to them how many points they choose to score.

Chambliss hit Wallace for 25 yards and then a couple plays later Kewan Lacy caps the drive with a two-yard drive.

Rebels moving the ball down the field but Dae’Quan Wright goes down after making a big play. He stayed down on the sideline for a bit in some pain before getting up and going to the tent.

Ole Miss won the toss and elected to receive the ball.

No. 6 Ole Miss is stepping out of Southeastern Conference play to host The Citadel for the final non-conference game of the 2025 season.

Not a lot that needs, or can, be said about the game today. Even Las Vegas was hesitant to put a line out and the sportbooks that did had Ole Miss a 53.5-point and up favorite.

For the Rebels (8-1) it is a game where it needs to get put to bed before halftime. Trinidad Chambliss and company should be on the bench enjoying a comfortable win when the come out of the locker room, resting up for the push that is ahead.

Next week starts the playoffs, essentially, for Ole Miss with Florida then at Mississippi State in three weeks. Take care of the Bulldogs (4-5) quick and efficient and move on to 9-1.
