On300 OT Li'Marcus Jones commits to Ole Miss

2027 Jackson (Miss.) Hartfield Academy offensive tackle Li’Marcus Jones committed to Ole Miss, he announced on Saturday. He’s the first 2027 pledge for Lane Kiffin & Co.
Jones is established as one of the top rising juniors in Mississippi. Ole Miss was the first program to have a power conference offer out to him so far and the Rebels stood out to him right away.
“As of right now, it’s consistency. They’re showing love,” he said. “It’s a great school and I would love to go on a visit soon.”
Offensive line coach John Garrison stands out to him on the field and off the field.
“He’s a good o-line coach. He coaches his line well,” Jones said. “He stays on them on and off the field. He’s making sure they’re doing right in-school, on the field, outside of school and off the field.”

He ranks as the No. 278 overall prospect in the country, No. 29 offensive tackle in America and No. 9 prospect in Mississippi.
