Peach State OL Shavezz Dixon commits to Ole Miss

Ole Miss landed a commitment Wednesday night from 2027 Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County offensive lineman Shavezz Dixon, he announced. The 6-4, 305-pounder is now the fourth commitment in the 2027 class for Lane Kiffin.
“First and Foremost I wanna thank the man above Jesus Christ,” he said. “Thank you to my friends, coaches, and family for all the sacrifices you all have made for me to be in this position. With that being said. I am blessed to announce that I am Committed to the University of Mississippi.”
According to Rivals, Dixon ranks as the No. 24 overall interior offensive lineman in the country and the No. 57 overall prospect in the state of Georgia.
In addition to Ole Miss, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Memphis, USF, Texas A&M and others also offered him a scholarship. After one visit to Ole Miss last weekend, he opted to commit to the Rebels.

“I loved it on my visit,” Dixon told Rivals’ Chad Simmons. “That visit was key in my decision. I felt welcomed, they made me feel like a top priority, and they treated me and my family so well. The atmosphere was amazing—the crowd was great, and it just felt like home.”
Dixon joins four-star defensive lineman JaMarkus Pittman, four-star defensive back Trae Collins and Alabama linebacker Jiyez Fleming as commitments in the class.
