Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver Harrison Wallace III caught his first touchdown as a Rebel on Saturday night. Quarterback Austin Simmons hit him for a 26-yard touchdown catch to put the Rebels up 49-7.

Check out the play below.

That touchdown gave Simmons 341 yards passing with three touchdowns on the night for Ole Miss.

With the reception, that gave Wallace five receptions for 130 yards and his first score as a Rebel. Right off the bat since arriving from Penn State, Wallace felt comfortable.

“Just being here the time I’ve been here, connecting with the guys and coaches, it’s been great,” Wallace told Rebel Grove during fall camp. “Really just being that explosive player down the field that also strives in the short and intermediate. Really just coming in on my visit and sitting down and seeing how they run their offense and how they use their receivers, it was a no-brainer. It was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.

“We have a great room. Having that depth is going to push everybody to be their best every day because there’s always someone coming for that job.”

The leading wide receiver for the Penn State Nittany Lions in 2024, Wallace left State College for Oxford with one year left. In 15 games last year, he caught 46 passes for 720 yards and four scores.

He’s off to a good start with Ole Miss as the Rebels are rolling past Georgia State.
