Rapid Reaction: How Ole Miss ultimately landed Kamarion Franklin, Mississippi’s top recruit

In this special edition of Talk of Champions, Ben Garrett and Zach Berry of the Ole Miss Spirit/On3 break down, from all angles, the commitment of 2024 four-star defensive lineman Kamarion Franklin.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Franklin is a defensive lineman ranked as the top prospect in the state of Mississippi for the 2024 recruiting class. He chose the Rebels over Auburn, Tennessee and Miami (Fla.).
Franklin is ranked as a Top 30 recruit by all but one of the four major recruiting services. He’s a five-star on 247Sports and Rivals. The On3 Industry Ranking has Franklin as the No. 39 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 7 defensive lineman.
Also included are interviews with Franklin and Lake Cormorant head coach Nick Nester. They each share the behind-the-scenes details of how the Rebels’ landed a future program cornerstone.
