WATCH: Cayden Lee is now a veteran in the Ole Miss locker room

Seems like a blink of an eye ago Cayden Lee made his presence known in Ole Miss’ win over Penn State in the Peach Bowl as the replacement for an injured Jordan Watkins.
Now just one season later Lee is a veteran in the locker room and among his fellow wide receivers. Maybe not in age or classification but as it relates to years spent in the Ole Miss offense.
Saturday begins Lee’s junior season, one that can serve as his first audition for NFL Scouts as he will be draft eligible come next Spring. Though, the NFL Draft feels more like a 2027 thing for Lee. He is focused on being the best player he can be and not letting any pressure of being one of the top receivers in the Southeastern Conference this season.

“I feel like it’s just doing what the coaches ask me to do,” Lee said on Monday. “I trust myself and I trust my training. I do a lot in the offseason to prepare myself for the games that are coming up and the season that we’re going to have. It really just comes down to the training that I feel like I put myself in during the offseason. So, there’s no pressure.”
Lee is the lone returning starter from a season ago in a room that features top transfers De’Zhaun Stribling, Deuce Alexander, Harrison Wallace III and Traylon Ray.
