WATCH: Ole Miss football practice highlights from fall camp
The Ole Miss Football team was back at it on the practice field Wednesday morning as fall camp rolls on for Lane Kiffin & Co. Check out the highlights below from workouts.
Kiffin’s Rebels start off the 2025 season at home in Oxford against Georgia State before jumping right into SEC play in Week 2 with a road matchup at Kentucky. Ole Miss is gunning to get ready for the quick start to league play with a lot of new faces, but Kiffin is starting to sound confident about his team just over a week into fall camp.

“I think guys are doing really well. Excited about this team,” Kiffin said Wednesday. “There’s a lot of new pieces, a lot of different things to look at, schemes with different players. So, obviously we lost a lot of players, but at the same time we added a lot. So kind of very different as I said the other day to our staff, the days before where we used to almost be able to figure out how good a team was based off their returning starters. You say, ‘okay, these guys have a lot coming back. They’re gonna be good. These guys don’t.’
“Really (it) is completely different because a lot of times you’re getting starters from other teams in the portal, so I know on paper that wouldn’t look very good with four returning starters (for Ole Miss), but doesn’t feel like that at all out there. I think that we got a lot of good depth at spots and a lot of players challenging each other and it’s been really good.”
