Week 14 bowl projections has SEC flavor for Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff

The final week of the regular season is here for Ole Miss and that means it is time for the Thanksgiving tradition of the annual Egg Bowl battle.
This year’s edition takes place on Friday at 11 a.m. CT (ABC) and for the No. 6-ranked Rebels (10-1) it means a chance at history in more ways than one. A win would give the program its first 11-win regular season in history as well as cement a spot in the College Football Playoffs. Ole Miss would also still be alive for next weekend’s Southeastern Conference championship game but would be keeping an eye on the Iron Bowl result between Auburn and No. 10 Alabama as well as No. 16 Texas vs. No. 3 Texas A&M.

The latest bowl projections show a reflection of the uncertainty regarding Kiffin with the Rebels beyond Friday’s regular season finale. They are still in the CFP projections but appear to be taking a hit indirectly and also paired with a SEC foe they are familiar with.
A lot will change after this weekend, again, and with the conference title games in two weeks. The Rebels have to win first, though.
But for now, here are this week’s bowl projections for Ole Miss
