Week 2 NFL Preseason games with former Ole Miss Rebels playing

The second week of the NFL preseason is already underway and there is a lot of Ole Miss flavor up and down Saturday’s schedule.
There are 30 former Rebels either playing or involved with teams playing in the 11-game slate.
In the prime time slot the New York Giants will play the New York Jets in Jaxson Dart‘s Met Life Stadium debut (6 p.m. CT / NFL Network). Dart is coming off a strong preseason debut in last week’s win at Buffalo.
“I can’t wait. My first time going into the stadium was the Zach Bryan concert,” Dart said earlier this week. “I think just being able to stand there and kind of look at all the great players names in the stadium and just kind of seeing the atmosphere and try to picture what a sold out stadium’s going to be like. Just the energy involved. I can’t wait. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I hope the fans come out and they’re super passionate. We can make home-field advantage for us.”
Saturday will be a third opportunity for former Ole Miss wide receiver Tre Harris when the Los Angeles Chargers take on the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium (6 p.m. CT). Harris will be going against former teammate in linebacker Chris ‘Pooh’ Paul, Jr. who is having a strong preseason camp with the Rams.
After not playing in last week’s game DK Metcalf might make his preseason debut on Saturday when the Pittsburg Steelers host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On Sunday Deantre Prince and the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to New Orleans to play the Saints at Noon CT on NFL Network. Caden Davis, Elijah Moore and Dawson Knox will play Sunday night when the Bills travel to Chicago to play the Bears (7 p.m. CT / FOX).
