No. 5 Ole Miss is sitting at 6-0 after it escaped a potential résumé-killing loss to Washington State on Saturday.

The Rebels beat the Cougars, 24-21, but they slipped back in the latest Top 25 rankings a spot to No. 5 after Indiana and Texas A&M leapfrogged them with better wins.

So what did the not-so-pretty do to the bowl projections of Ole Miss as it starts the second-half of the 2025 season now with College Football Playoff goals in mind?

The CFP is still in play, per this week’s newest bowl projections but the Rebels also fell a seed or two in the 12-team field.

Ole Miss will have chances to improve these projections and help solidify a CFP-worthy résumé with SEC road games against ranked opponents the next two weeks.
