Oregon injury report for Week 5 at Stanford

Oregon emerged from its Week 5 win over Colorado with a few of its star players dinged up.
But, during practice this week, it appeared that the No. 9 Ducks will travel to Stanford with a mostly healthy roster. The majority of the program’s 85 scholarship players were able to take part in practice in some capacity during the periods that reporters were able to watch.
With kickoff a little over 24 hours away, here’s a rundown of which Oregon players may or may not be available for Saturday’s matchup with Stanford, based on recent practice observations.
Out
RB Noah Whittington: Oregon was dealt its first significant injury blow of the season against the Buffs when star running back Noah Whittington suffered a serious injury to his left leg. Dan Lanning did not provide the exact details of Whittington’s injury, but said last Saturday that the Ducks will be without him for “a few weeks.”
K Andrew Boyle: Oregon’s kickoff specialist has yet to practice since the start of the season and is not expected to play on Saturday. With Boyle sidelined, senior placekicker Camden Lewis has handled kickoff duties for the Ducks this season.
Doubtful
OL Lipe Moala: The freshman offensive lineman has been absent from practice for a few weeks and is not expected to play in Week 5.
DL Tevita Pome’e: The freshman defensive lineman returned to practice earlier this month after having been sidelined for several weeks. But it’s unclear if he’s healthy enough to take the field in Week 5 and he is not expected to see the field.
Questionable
OL Nishad Strother: The East Carolina transfer participated in full-contact drills last week for the first time in nearly a month. He went through pregame warmups before the Colorado game and appeared to be full-go, but did not see the field. Strother was a full participant at practice this week and could have a chance to make his season debut at Stanford.
LB Jestin Jacobs: For the first time since the start of fall camp, Iowa transfer Jestin Jacobs was seen participating in a full-contact drill during an open practice. That’s a positive sign for the junior linebacker as he continues to work his way back from the knee injury he suffered last fall.

“He’s a great player and I think as he gets more and more comfortable — obviously, we’re always gonna be precautionary for him — but as he gets more and more comfortable, we’re excited to see what he can do for us out there,” Lanning said of Jacobs this week.
WR Josh Delgado: The junior receiver is working his way back after suffering a significant leg injury during spring ball. He returned to practice earlier this month after being sidelined for the entirety of fall camp. But it’s unclear if he will feature for the Ducks this weekend.
CB Daylen Austin: The freshman cornerback was not seen practicing last week, and was not in uniform for the Colorado game. But he was back at practice this week.
Probable
CB Jahlil Florence: Oregon’s starting cornerback played just 15 snaps against Colorado and appeared to get dinged up in the second half. But he appeared to be good to go during practice this week.
S Bryan Addison: Oregon’s starting free safety missed Tuesday’s practice for undisclosed reasons. He left the Colorado game briefly after taking a hit during the third quarter, but later returned to the sideline and appeared to be OK. Addison was back at practice on Wednesday as a full participant.
