ScoopDuck Roundtable: Score Predictions vs Hawaii

We are creeping closer and closer to gameday. Which means it’s time to talk scores. Oregon should win, I can’t imagine a scenario that plays out otherwise, even with me at quarterback.
But we still predict the outcome just the same. Here are the score predictions for Hawaii from the ScoopDuck team.
Corpatty: Oregon 60, Hawaii 20
That’s right I see this one as a good old fashioned shoot out, with Oregon ringing the bell at will offensively. I see big games all around on offense for Oregon, while Hawaii is able to move the ball and put up some points through the air. But the Rainbows won’t be able to keep up and the Ducks rest their starters for the 4th quarter.
Joel Gunderson: Oregon 56, Hawaii 17
Questions aplenty for the Ducks coming off their victory in Lubbock this past Saturday, but also plenty of positives to build off. One of the biggest — and one that I believe is being overlooked a bit — was the welcome return of Oregon’s pass rush.
Perhaps the bar was too low, but seeing Tyler Shough planted four times, hurried a dozen more, and it all coming from a variety of sources, was so fun and energizing that it makes you (mostly) forget the other issues.

But we know the players and coaches aren’t forgetting them; because of that, and with Colorado on the horizon, I expect the Ducks to come out focused and eager to look good ahead of the mammoth Buffaloes showdown.
Jarrid Denney: Oregon 56, Hawaii 13
The Ducks will have no problem covering the 38-point spread for this one. I would imagine we’ll see plenty of Ty Thompson during the second half, as well as a ton of defensive true freshmen during a comfortable Oregon win.
Doug Scott: Oregon 52, Hawaii 20
Oregon jumps out early in this one and never really looks back, cruising to an easy victory with the deep bench getting lots of run in the 4th quarter
Jhop: Oregon 62, Hawaii 10
Oregon gets back on track. And by back on track, I mean another blowout you all expect to take place. Bo Nix will hopefully give way to Ty Thompson at some point in the 3rd quarter with Oregon up big. I predicted the Oregon defense would get three interceptions in this one which would be a welcome sight. The Ducks win big and the biggest key will be, they stay healthy for Colorado the following week.
