Penn State football lost another commitment in the Class of 2026 on Wednesday night when Blackwood, N.J., Timber Creek offensive lineman Roseby Lubintus flipped from the Nittany Lions to Syracuse. The Rivals three-star previously picked head coach James Franklin’s program a day before this year’s Blue-White game on April 25. He is the third prospect to move on after initially picking PSU in the current recruiting cycle. The rest of the list headlines today’s newsstand.

Before Lubintus, Rivals300 member Peyton Falzone, a Nazareth, Pa., native, was the most recent decommitment. After originally picking the Lions on April 12, the four-star athlete, who wants to be a quarterback at the next level, abruptly changed course and flipped to Auburn on June 26. His change of heart came just weeks after the Tigers offered him.

“(Their recruitment of me) really began about the time they offered me (June 2),” Falzone told Auburn Sports. “I was happily committed to Penn State at that time and never thought that I would be committing to Auburn (one month later). But it took off right from the get-go. I was on calls with Coach Austin, Coach Freeze and Coach Stone countless times.”

The Lions’ first decommitment in the Class of 2026 was Rivals Industry Rankings four-star receiver Jerquaden Guilford. The Fort Wayne, Ind., native picked PSU on Dec. 6, 2024 but backed away from that pledge on Feb. 28, 2025. He has yet to pick a new school. Suitors in the running include Ohio State and Ole Miss.

Quote of the day

“I think the main goal is obviously to win a championship. I think you kind of saw what Penn State did this year, making it to the Frozen Four. They’ve come a long ways. And I think next year, when I go there, obviously, that’s the goal, is to win a championship.”
