How did the young Penn State defensive ends perform against Nevada?

Part of the conversation coming out of the game against Nevada is that, aside from Dani Dennis-Sutton, the young Penn State defensive ends were bad in the opening game.

Is that true? We reviewed the film and will outline where Jaylen Harvey and Chaz Coleman played well, as well as where they struggled against the Wolf Pack offense.

For the full video breakdown, check out the Blue White Illustrated message board and look for an article later this afternoon.

Practice preview

We’ll also discuss what we expect to see from the Penn State football team at practice tonight. We’ll outline the situations we’re tracking through the first month of practice to see how the team is developing heading into the second non-conference game of the year.

Penn State vs FIU Primer

Finally, we’ll preview the upcoming game against FIU. It’s another game where the Nittany Lions should be massive favorites and win comfortably. Yet every team presents different opportunities to work on different aspects of an offense and defense. We’ll discuss where FIU is strong and where they struggle to try and predict what aspects of its offense and defense Penn State can focus on in the game on Saturday.
