Florida safety Antonio Branch flips from Penn State to Colorado, Deion Sanders

Penn State is down a commitment in the Class of 2025. Over the weekend, Miami (Fla.) Northwestern defensive back Antonio Branch took an official visit to check out Colorado. On Monday, On3’s Steve Wiltfong reported that Branch has indeed flipped to Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes.
Branch had committed to Penn State on June 19. He officially visited Happy Valley a few weeks prior and chose the Nittany Lions over Louisville and Nebraska. Branch’s mother confirmed the flip with On3 after they watched Colorado defeat Baylor in overtime in Boulder. The Buffaloes offered in early September.
“I would say it’s a good potential fit because he has an opportunity to start as a true freshman,” his mother, Trina told On3. “Who wouldn’t want to be coached by Deion Sanders. Someone that played the same position Antonio is playing.
“Besides the football, the atmosphere, the mountains, oh my God, the view of that was gorgeous. The people there were wonderful. Nice and loving. It felt like family.”
