STATE COLLEGE — Penn State is set for its second top-two matchup in as many Saturdays. After losing last weekend at No. 1 Ohio State, the Nittany Lions now welcome No. 2 Indiana to Beaver Stadium today. It is the team’s first game at home since James Franklin was fired in mid-October.

“This is my first home game [as the interim head coach],” Terry Smith said on Wednesday. “I just learned that I now have to stay at the hotel Friday night, and now what bus I’m riding. You know, these things are new to me because as an assistant, I didn’t stay at the hotel Friday night. So, it’ll be a little bit different. You know, this whole thing is really surreal to me. I’m just, I’m humbled by it. Looking forward to it. I’m looking forward to having our home crowd behind us. We’ve been in two hostile environments, and [are now] welcoming a great home crowd.”
