Third period

First period
Duke gets in good position on a shot but Rozynski is able to slip away as they go off the edge of the mat.Rozynski just fended off another solid Duke shot late in the first period. Penn State is going to challenge the most recent shot not being a takedown. It does not look like a takedown and the refs agree. So it’s still 0-0 with 21 seconds left in the period. Scoreless period.
Second period
Rozynski takes down and quickly escapes. Duke, the aggressor throughout, shoots in and scores for a 3-1 lead. Rozynski called for stalling to make it 4-2. Another stalling point for Duke, who’s lead is now 5-2. Then adds a late takedown near the edge as the period closes out. It’s an 8-2 lead for Duke after two.
Third period
It’s a quick takedown for Duke, who now leads 11-2. Rozynski escapes to 11-3. Duke quickly takes him down to swell his lead to 14-3 and Rozynski is hurt after the takedown. Looks like a shoulder injury. It will be a medical default for Rozynski.
