Recap: Penn State falls to Oregon in double OT as another game ends with a Drew Allar pick

STATE COLLEGE — No. 3 Penn State erased a 17-3 lead that No. 6 Oregon had with 12:25 to play in the fourth quarter to force overtime at 17-17. However, Drew Allar threw an interception on first play of the second overtie session, as the Ducks scored a 30-24 win. A full recap is below.

Class of 2026 wide receiver Josiah Teasley, a University of Virginia commit, announced a Penn State offer prior to the game. The three-star prospect was a standout at the Nittany Lions’ team camp over the summer. He pledged to UVA back in June. Penn State has three receivers committed in the Class of 2026.
