Live updates: Tracking former Penn State players on NFL roster cut down day

Many former Penn State players are now immune to the stress associated with the NFL’s annual roster cutdown day. However, a number of one-time Nittany Lions still are not. All 32 pro teams must reduce their roster from the 90 players they can carry during the offseason to the 53-man active roster maximum by 4 p.m. ET today, Aug. 26.
Depending on their age, some players will automatically become free agents upon being let go. Others will be subject to the waiver process first. And some will be cut with an injury designation, which will send them to their team’s injury reserve list for the time being.
Here’s the latest on former Lions trying to make an NFL team. Note: This page does not update automatically. So, please refresh your browser often for the latest information.
