Penn State offers a new wave of 2026 D-line prospects

There’s no secret that Penn State missed out on its top defensive line prospects, including defenisve tackle Damari Simeon, who chose Ohio State over the Nittany Lions at the end of June. To fill that gap, defensive line coach Deion Barnes has put out a new wave of offers to 2026 defensive tackle prospects. Today, we’ll tell you more about Emanuel Ruffin and Djidjou Bah.

Recruiting updates for 2026 and 2027

Next, recruiting reporter Ryan Snyder will dive into the rankings updates for 2026 and 2027. He’ll discuss where the movement happened among the committed prospects this cycle and how the integration of Rivals into the On3 rankings system changed the profile of certain players in the class.

We’ll also look ahead to 2027 and see where Penn State’s top target and committed players landed in the update before the next cycle’s junior season. Did Kemon Spell remain near the top of the recruiting rankings? We’ll outline where the trio of Spell, receiver Khalil Taylor, and tackle Layton von Brandt found themselves in the updated list.
