The Penn State football team is loaded on offense and has a strong core returning on defense. So, is there room on a potential playoff team for freshmen to contribute? Today, we’ll look at the possible paths to the field for Class of 2024 and 2025 players who still have a freshman label on the roster. The best football players will play on any team, regardless of position or age. However, the situation is also critical for a young player to see the field early. Is there a role on the Penn State offense or defense that they can fill, even if it’s not a starting job? We’ll look at the team’s roster and examine the best places for a young player to contribute this fall.
