Penn State has already offered 30 players who were named to the 2028 Rivals100 on Monday. Among that list, 14 of them have already visited State College at least once.

Within the region, New Jersey looks to be strong in the class, with five players. That includes cornerback Amiir Woodward (No. 19) and edge rusher Jackson Vaughn (No. 43) from Bergen Catholic, linebacker Tahj Gray (No. 23) from St. Joseph Regional and running back Tahmere Brown (No. 90) from The Pennington School. Quarterback Lukas Prock (No. 76), from the Hun School, also made the list. The Nittany Lions haven’t yet offered Prock, but he performed well at Penn State’s camp back in June. All five players have also visited with the coaching staff at least once.

Maryland has three players on the list, beginning with Archbishop Spalding offensive lineman Bryce Smalls at No. 17 overall. The state also features two intriguing defenisve line prospects: Tyrone Elee (No. 30) and Tyzon Swann (No. 68). Elee is the younger brother of five-star plus edge rusher and 2026 recruit Zion Elee.

Pennsylvania and Virginia both have two players each who made the list. The only Keystone State prospect that Penn State has offered to his point is Malvern Prep edge rusher George Parkinson. He’s currently ranked No. 88 overall. St. Joseph’s Prep wide receiver Jett Harrison (No. 28) also made the list.

Penn State hasn’t offered either of the two players from Virginia so far in cornerback Langston Pridgeon (No. 25) and linebacker Andre Alexander (No. 39). Pridgeon did visit Penn State in June.

You’ll also find three of the four quarterbacks that Penn State offered within the Rivals100. Massachusetts native Christopher Vargas is the second-ranked quarterback at No. 20 overall, while Michigan native Donald Tabron II is fourth at the position at No. 29. Florida native Neimann Lawrence, who visited back in March, is ranked No. 38 nationally.

Other notable names to circle include WR Braylon Clark (No. 16), OL George Selvie III (No. 21) and LB Tysir Young (No. 74). Both Clark and Young have visited at least three times each. Selvie resides in Florida nowadays but has family in Western Pennsylvania.
