Penn State is 1-0 to start the 2022 season following an exciting, come-from-behind victory over Purdue last Thursday in West Lafayette. The Nittany Lions, led by quarterback Sean Clifford, drove the ball 80 yards to take a 35-31 lead with under a minute to go. The defense then came up strong when it mattered most, giving James Franklin and the entire program a boast of confidence following a difficult season opener.

Now, the Nittany Lions find themselves preparing for their home opener this upcoming weekend against the Ohio Bobcats out of the MAC. Penn State is 5-1 all-time against Ohio and are currently 24.5-point favorites leading into Saturday’s game.

As is the case every week, Penn State invited the media to attend an open practice Wednesday evening, which was held inside due to rain in the area. Blue White Illustrated photographer Daniel Althouse was among those in attendance. Fans can check out his photo gallery below.
