Penn State quarterback Drew Allar continues to impress in training camp

The hype building around Penn State quarterback Drew Allar is reaching astronomical proportions. The former five-star passer has Heisman odds, and sharps are putting futures on Penn State to reach the College Football Playoff thanks in large part to Allar putting a complete team over the top. It's the sort of dizzying climb that few football players can ever actually live up to.  But as with everything, some do. While we're not saying that Allar will win the Heisman, reports from camp have been glowing about Allar. Nate Bauer reported earlier this week that Allar has been showing signs of being "the guy" at the position that can elevate the team. We'll dive into some of the nuts and bolts of how he's showing that in practice. And the good thing for Penn State fans is that he is showing that he can be a program-defining quarterback.
