While Penn State football was getting a big touchdown catch out of one of its transfer additions in Devonte Ross on Saturday in a 34-0 win over FIU, some former Nittany Lions were shining elsewhere during Week 2 of the college football season.

If you missed our full roundup of where every one-time member of head coach James Franklin’s team is suiting up this fall, you can review that here. We’ll have a full update during the bye week. For now, we’re just highlighting some of the top notes following the latest Saturday of games.

We start at Missouri, where Beau Pribula put up big numbers in a 42-31 win over Kansas. The Pa., native completed 30 of 39 passes for 334 yards and three touchdowns.

“I think everybody stepped up every single time, and ya know, it’s huge,” Pribula told reporters after the win. “I think we grew a lot from that. It says a lot about, you know, just the character of this team. I thought everybody did a really good job handling adversity today.”

For the season, Pribula is now 53 of 67 (79 percent) for 617 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Staying in the SEC, Trey Wallace had another nice day for Ole Miss. He caught four passes for 117 yards (with a long of 55) in the Rebels’ 30-23 win over Kentucky. He now has nine catches for 167 yards this season.

In other receiver news, a week after being questionable for his debut against Washington, Omari Evans was listed as out for Washington in Week 2. He is dealing with a soft tissue injury, according to The Husky Haul.
