The 2025 college football season is more than halfway over. When we last took a look at how former Penn State players are doing about a month ago, the results were clear: While Beau Pribula, Harrisoin Wallace, and some others were doing well, most ex-Lions were doing about the same or worse than they did in State College. Is that still the case in mid-October? Our latest roundup is below.

Former Penn State players suiting up elsewhere on offense

WR Cristian Driver, Minnesota: Driver has been out on the team’s availability report in two of the last three weeks. It’s unclear what kind of injury he is dealing with. But, he does not make an impact anytime soon.

RB London Montgomery, East Carolina: Montgomery continues to lead the Pirates in rushing. He has 76 carries for 365 yards and three touchdowns on the year. He also has eight receptions for 56 yards.

WR Malik McClain, Arizona State: McClain has six catches for 51 yards on the season. That’s true despite the fact that he has 478 snaps, which is the second most at his position and fifth most on the offense overall.

WR Malick Meiga, Coastal Carolina: Meiga has 10 catches for 111 yards and a touchdown on the season. He also has a special teams role, as well. But, he’s a backup at both spots.
