Penn State wrestling is set to begin its 2021-2022 season this upcoming weekend with the Journeyman Duals at Spooky Nook outside Lancaster, Pa., Saturday evening.

Head coach Cael Sanderson and the Nittany Lions rank No. 2 in the Intermat team rankings to start the upcoming season. Iowa is the top-ranked team, with eight other Big Ten programs ranking in the top-25. Michigan will start at No. 5, while Ohio State (9th) and Minnesota (10th) are among the top-10.

The Nittany Lions have four returning national champions this season. That includes Roman Bravo-Young (133 lbs), Nick Lee (141 lbs), Carter Starocci (174 lbs) and Aaron Brooks (184 lbs).

Sanderson was asked a variety of question in regards to who could fill some of the holes that left Penn State short of a national title last season. However, he did stop short of naming his starting lineup.
