Penn State wrestling versus Clarion: Time and streaming info, starting lineups, more

Penn State wrestling finishes its 2022-2023 dual meet season today. The No. 1 and Big Ten regular season champion Nittany Lions host Clarion this afternoon. It’s Senior Day for head coach Cael Sanderson’s side, and Rec Hall will be packed for the match.
While departing members of the roster will be honored before the match, don’t expect significant lineup changes due to the celebration.
“You want to throw the seniors out there if you have the chance but unfortunately, that’s not really how it works,” Sanderson said back on Tuesday. “We’re getting ready for the national tournament. That’s our focus and our purpose. If it works for a senior, great, and if not, that’s kind of how it goes. We love our seniors. But at this point, it’s about preparation for the national tournament.”
Get ready for the match with our preview below.

Projected Lions-Eagles lineups
As always, these can and likely will change before or during the match. But, here are the projections as things currently stand:
25 pounds: Gary Steen, Penn State vs. Joey Fisher, Clarion
133 pounds: No. 1 Roman Bravo-Young, PSU vs. Mason Prinkey, Clarion
141 pounds: No. 5 Beau Bartlett, Penn State vs. Seth Koleno, Clarion
149 pounds: No. 13 Shayne Van Ness, PSU vs. Kyle Schickel, Clarion
157 pounds: No. 8 Levi Haines, PSU vs. Trevor Elfvin, Clarion
165 pounds: No. 9 Alex Facundo, Penn State vs. Cam Pine, Clarion
174 pounds: No. 1 Carter Starocci, PSU vs. John Worthin, Clarion
184 pounds: No. 1 Aaron Brooks, Penn State vs. No. 21 Will Feldkamp, Clarion
197 pounds: No. 3 Max Dean, PSU vs. Ty Bagoly, Clarion
285 pounds: No. 2 Greg Kerkvliet, Penn State vs. Austin Chapman, Clarion
What will the top bout be?
The Eagles will put their best effort on display. But, head coach Keith Ferraro’s team is significantly overmatched up and down the lineup. We’ll be curious to see if Aaron Brooks gives way to Donovan Ball at 184 pounds. If so, his matchup opposite No. 21 Will Feldkamp could be a doozy. If not, Brooks will roll.
Beyond that possibility, Cam Pine is 21-5 but not ranked at 165 pounds. Because of that fact, expect him to give No. 9 Alex Facundo his best shot. That could make for a fun match.
Finally, we’ll be looking for Gary Steen to close the season out with a win opposite Joey Fisher. It would be a big confidence booster entering the Big Ten tournament, which is March 4-5 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
