Former Penn State offensive lineman Landon Tengwall joins us for an hour of discussion about the upcoming season.

Penn State football is now in training camp for the 2025 season. Before things get too intense, we’re having one last summertime-level conversation about the team’s chances for the upcoming season. Former Penn State offensive lineman Landon Tengwall, a regular on the BWI Live show, stopped by my back porch to hang out and shoot the breeze about what we think of the upcoming season. Penn State media day begins Aug. 2

Penn State head coach James Franklin kicks off his 12th season as leader of the Nittany Lions on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 12:15 with his camp-opening press conference. Following Franklin, the team’s coordinators will speak, followed by players and assistant coaches. Follow along at Blue White Illustrated all day long for press conference videos, recaps, and updates! We’ll also provide a look into the team’s Saturday practice when Penn State opens the doors to Lasch in the evening.  

Game Themes announced

The program also announced game themes for the 2025 regular season home slate. Of course, fans already know that the Sept. 27 showdown with Oregon will be the White Out. The other notable game themes include Homecoming against Northwestern on Oct. 11. That game will also be the stripe out for the home crowd. Next, it’s the helmet stripe game and Military Appreciation Day against Indiana on Nov. 8. Senior Day will take place against Nebraska on Nov. 22 when the Nittany Lions invite the Cornhuskers to Beaver Stadium.
