What did Nebraska coach Matt Rhule, Penn State players, say about the Lions' 37-10 win?

STATE COLLEGE — Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule heaped praise on Penn State following the Nittany Lions’ 37-10 domination of his Cornhuskers on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.
“Obviously, that was a tough night,” Rhule said. “Credit to them, they were ready to play. They were unbelievably motivated. They played really well I thought. You know, I challenged the guys at halftime, a bad run there, couple of plays in the first half. And obviously, we just never played well enough on defense to stop the run.
“Second half, obviously, we got us a stop, went down, and scored. Punt fake, credit to them, but just a disappointing day. We don’t have a lot of time to worry about it, think about it. We’ve got a big game on Friday. So we take this L, put it on me as the head coach. Credit to them. And we have to move forward fast.”
Rhule also had kind words for his former assistant coach at Temple and fellow Penn State letterman, Terry Smith.
“I think when you’re the interim head coach, people have a tendency to rally around you,” Smith said. “I think they certainly have rallied around him. He’s a Penn Stater. He’s a lifer. You know, I’m proud of him. I gave him his first job. I think he’s done a really nice job out there. I’m sure Penn State’s a great place. You know, they have fantastic talent, and they played really well tonight.”

What did Penn State players say after the win?
Here is this week’s assortment of Penn State player quotes:
“It meant a lot. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. I’m glad I got the opportunity to do this. It’s been a long four years. Getting a win that mattered the most to me. I just wanted to win for real. Then I got an opportunity to break the record. So everything goes hand in hand, and it’s on senior night.”
PSU RB Kaytron Allen on becoming the Lions’ all-time leading rusher.
“I don’t know where the signs came from, to be honest, but yeah, they needed to be up and they needed to be seen. So I’m glad we had those signs. Oh yeah. Now I’m glad we had him, because I believe Terry Smith should be the next head coach. It shouldn’t be no other question. He’s gotten this train back on track. In the midst of chaos, we all looked at him, and he’s been a leader for us. So I think he should be the next head coach.”
Penn State DE Dani Dennis-Sutton on the players’ ‘Hire Terry Smith’ signs after the game.
“He’s been through a lot in his personal life this year, he’s been through a lot of trials and tribulations, and he’s worked his tail off and just led by example and really contributed everything emotionally and physically to this team. So, you know, we’re just so proud of him. We wanted to get this done for him.”
PSU center Nick Dawkins on Allen breaking the rushing record.
