What time and TV channel will Penn State-Rutgers be on? Here are the details for the regular season finale

Penn State travels to Rutgers two Saturdays from now for its regular season finale. The Scarlet Knights (5-5) and Nittany Lions (4-6) could be fighting for bowl eligibility in Piscataway. Interim head coach Terry Smith’s side will need to beat Nebraska this weekend at 7 p.m. ET on NBC before taking out the Scarlet Knights to reach the postseason. Greg Schiano’s team, meanwhile, needs one more win. It’s unlikely to get it this Saturday at No. 1 Ohio State. Assuming it loses to the Buckeyes, Rutgers will need to beat the Lions to reach a bowl game.
What time, TV channel, is Penn State-Rutgers on?
Big Ten Network will televise the game. It will start at 3:30 p.m. ET. A broadcast crew is not yet out. Penn State leads the all-time series between the schools 32-2. The Lions have won 17 straight contests dating back to 1989. The programs last met in 2023.
Penn State is coming off of a 28-10 win over Michigan State. The Lions now move onto their Senior Day clash with the Cornhuskers.
I’m super proud of our effort on Saturday,” Smith said Monday. ‘Not only did we win, but we played with an identity of Penn State football. It was complimentary football at its best, and we’re going to continue to build off of that.
