What time, TV channel, will Penn State-Michigan State be on? What we know about the Lions' Week 12 clash

Penn State is back on the road in two weeks after returning to Beaver Stadium this Saturday for a matchup with No. 2 Indiana. Interim head coach Terry Smith’s Nittany Lions then head to Michigan State for a contest that will pit two of the Big Ten’s worst teams against each other inside of Spartan Stadium. Entering Week 11, Smith’s side is 3-5. Spartans coach Jonathan Smith’s team, meanwhile, is 3-6. Neither program has a Big Ten win yet this season. MSU is on a bye this week, meaning only a PSU upset of the Hooisers will lead one to having one before they meet in a game where one must earn their first conference victory of the season.
When will Penn State-Michigan State start? The Big Ten announced Monday that kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. ET in East Lansing. Either CBS or Big Ten Network will televise the game. One station will get this game. The other will get Iowa-USC at the same time.
Penn State leads the all-time series 19-18-1. It is riding a two-game winning streak that dates back to 2022.
“Yeah, these things aren’t always easy, but this group continues to battle,” Jonathan Smith said after losing to Minnesota in overtime last Saturday. They want to rally and work together. They love this game, and haven’t found results. But I do think, on display for three hours, these guys are fighting and going and playing.”
