What time will Penn State-Nebraska start? Kickoff details and TV info are out for the Lions' Senior Day matchup

Penn State welcomes Nebraska to Beaver Stadium next Saturday for Senior Day. Back on Monday, the Big Ten’s television partners put all of the conference’s Week 13 matchups on the six-day window. That gave them until the end of Week 12 to decide when games would start next week and who would televise them. Those picks are now in.
NBC will air the Lions-Cornhuskers matchup. It will start at 7 p.m. ET. It will be the final game of the year at Beaver Stadium. Interim head coach Terry Smith’s team finishes its regular season at Rutgers on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Looking ahead to Penn State-Nebraska
Nebraska (6-3) will come to town off a bye week. Its head coach, Lions letterman Matt Rhule, was a popular hot board name to know early in the search for James Franklin’s replacement. But he later signed a new contract with the Cornhuskers, one that requires him to pay a large buyout if he leaves the program before the 2026 season.
“Yeah, I mean, we were on, I think, two weeks ago and we talked about it, and I just, you know, told you guys how much we love it here, you know. And, to me, there’s lots of great jobs, but very rarely in this business do you find a home, and we felt like Nebraska is our home,” Rhule said on The Pat McAfee Show after signing his extension. “This program is our home. I love these players. I love this place.

“Our AD, Troy Dannen, has been amazing to me. Our president, Dr. Gold. I mean, just the alignment? You see places that don’t have alignment. We got amazing alignment, and we’re building. And so, you know, I think after week three, Troy started talking to me about it, and I was just like, ‘Hey, I’ve got to focus on football.’ But I appreciate it. They’re betting on the future, and we’re doubling down.”
Nebraska owns a 10-8 all-time series lead over Penn State. It took the last meeting between the schools in 2020. Both teams are without the star starting quarterbacks they started the season with. The Lions’ Drew Allar is out for the year after suffering a broken ankle in October. The Cornhuskers’ Dylan Raiola, meanwhile, is out due to a broken fibula.
Penn State will honor a massive number of seniors next Saturday. A full list will come out in the days leading up to kickoff. The Lions are coming off a 28-10 win over Michigan State on Saturday.
