While most of our attention is on the Class of 2026 as it comes to a pivotal decision time over the next two months, we’ll start today with the Class of 2027. The Nittany Lions have an elite start to the next cycle, according to the latest On300 rankings for the juniors-to-be. Snyder and Fitz discuss where commits Khalil Taylor, Kemon Spell, and Layton von Brandt rank in the updated list, which dropped this week. Snyder will also detail where Pennsylvania stacks up in the national recruiting scene for the next cycle.

Penn State is also waiting on a decision today from three-star cornerback Jaziel Hart. The Virginia native will announce his commitment from a final five of Notre Dame, Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Penn State. Our reporters will tell you which way the wind is blowing before the final announcement.

There are also several other defensive targets narrowing in on various decisions, which we’ll recap. Who are top defensive tackle Damari Simeon’s top schools? We’ll recap his final four and discuss the official visit situation for one of the team’s top remaining targets.
