Purdue still looking for 2026 additions?

Purdue dished out a pair of offers to 2026 prospects in the last week. The first of which went to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Kan.) linebacker Cal Purvis. Purvis is the younger brother of Purdue sophomore offensive lineman Hank Purvis. The rising linebacker is set to decide between Purdue and Navy and will have until early February to do so before the next signing period.

The other offer was for ex-Iowa State commit and three-star Westside (Neb.) defensive back Bryson Williams. Williams had heard from Purdue, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Virginia, but announced over the weekend that he had committed to Penn State. That is not a surprising outcome considering Matt Campbell’s departure from Ames to Happy Valley.

Still, both offers provide a glimpse into Purdue’s approach. That is, Barry Odom and company may not be done with the 2026 class.

We’ve seen three new targets emerge since signing day, with Purvis and Williams joining 2026 three-star quarterback Cole Burgeron in netting late offers from the Boilermakers. Williams is headed for Penn State, while Burgeron inked with Georgia Tech, but Purdue is open to adding more talent in the 2026 class.

That’s something to monitor for the next month and a half, or so.

Other new offers by the Boilermakers:

Expect plenty of new offers here in the next couple of months (and beyond), when Purdue is able to get out on the road to recruit, as well as host high school prospects on campus once again.

Purdue has already started dishing out new offers to prospects, with several coming in the last week.

Bryce Williams: 2027 four-star Western (Fla.) defensive back

The ex-Florida State commit earned an offer from the Boilermakers, days after he backed off his pledge to the Seminoles. Williams has also picked up offers from Wisconsin, Auburn and FIU since. Nebraska, Florida, Clemson and Miami are teams to watch for the Florida native.

Tate Wallace: 2027 four-star Regina Catholic (Iowa.) athlete/linebacker

The two-way Iowa City standout tallied 50 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and nine sacks on defense, as well as 40 catches for 611 yards and 10 touchdowns on offense at tight end. He’s got some position versatility, but could very well be a linebacker at the college level. Purdue joins the race, along with Tennessee, Minnesota, West Virginia, and Kansas State as his Power 4 offers.

Brawley Tuitupou: 2027 Mountain View (Utah) wide receiver/athlete

An intriguing talent, 6 feet, 4 inch wide receiver Brawley Tuitupou was offered by offensive analyst Bilal Marshall last week. The Utah native has seen his recruitment blow up recently, with new offers from NC State, Purdue, Kentucky, and Memphis. Those schools enter the mix, joining SMU, Missouri, Kansas, USF, Fresno State, Iowa, and Duke.
