Purdue adds defensive tackle from the transfer portal

Purdue has added a commitment from the transfer portal from Bowling Green defensive lineman Marcus Moore.
A product of Washington High in Massillon, Ohio, Moore visited Purdue April 11-12. He has three years of eligibility.
Moore had transferred to Bowling Green from Akron this past offseason. Now, the 6-3, 310-pounder is on the move again after the Falcons made a head coach change with Eddie Georgereplacing Scot Loeffler.

Moore redshirted at Akron in 2023 and played in 2024, appearing in 12 career games for the Zips. Moore notched 39 career tackles, 3.5 TFLs and one fumble recovery for Akron.
Moore is Purdue’s second portal commitment in the spring cycle, joining LB Sanders Ellis of Tennessee State.
The transfer portal opens on Wednesday and closes April 25.
