Ishmail didn’t play and redshirted as a freshman in 2023. But this past season, he played in seven games, taking part in 72 snaps. He made three tackles in 2024.
The 6-3, 260-pound Ismail, who played at Princeton High in Cincinnati, got crowded out at a deep edge spot in Ann Arbor.
