Purdue adds UCF WR Chauncey Magwood from transfer portal

Purdue coach Barry Odom has added a player to his 2025 roster via the transfer portal: Central Florida WR Chauncey Magwood.
He is the second wideout in the class and the 17th portal commit overall for the Boilermakers in this cycle. Magwood also is the second player (QB EJ Colson) from UCF to join Purdue. He will have one year of eligibility.
A native of Leesburg, Ga., who played at Lee County High School, Magwood caught five passes for 102 yards as a redshirt junior in 2024 at UCF to bring his career total to 17 receptions for 263 yards with one touchdown.
