Purdue adds UNLV TE Christian Earls from the transfer portal
Purdue has added another player from the portal: UNLV TE Christian Earls.
The 6-8, 290-pound Earls has one year of eligibility. He played in seven games this past season for UNLV, coming back from a broken foot suffered in camp.
A native of Chandler, Ariz., who played at Basha High, Earls was a midyear signee who competed in spring practice in 2023 with the Rebels. He went on to catch a 14-yard pass in the 2023 season opener vs. Bryant and followed that up with an 11-yard reception at eventual national champion Michigan one week later.

Earls began his career at Butler C.C. in Kansas, where he redshirted in 2021. He then switched to Kilgore J.C. in Texas in 2022.
Earls is the fifth UNLV player to follow Barry Odom to West Lafayette, joining FB Christian Moore along with OLs Jalen “Chop” St. John, Hank Purvis and Mason Vicari. Earls is Purdue’s 10th portal commitment overall.
