Purdue adds Wake Forest TE Luca Puccinelli from transfer portal

Purdue coach Barry Odom has added a player to his 2025 roster via the transfer portal: Wake Forest TE Luca Puccinelli. He has four years of eligibility.
The 6-6, 250-pound Puccinelli–who played at Benedictine High in Richmond, Va.–played in no games for Wake Forest as a true freshman in 2024.

He is the second tight end to commit to Purdue from the portal in 2025 and 15th portal commit overall for the Boilermakers in this cycle.
Coming out of high school, Puccinelli chose the Demon Deacons over offers from South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Syracuse, Rutgers and Duke, among others.
