INDIANAPOLIS — Shaking off a slow shooting start, Jack Benter‘s second-half shooting eruption drove the Indiana junior all-stars’ 105-100 exhibition win over the Indiana All-Stars Wednesday night at Cathedral. After a 1-of-6 first half, 0-for-5 from three, Benter scored 20 of his 24 points and made 5-of-7 threes after halftime.

Incoming Purdue freshman Myles Colvin scored 18 points for the seniors, a few hours before departing for Colorado Springs for USA Basketball’s 19-and-under World Cup team, which will compete overseas in July. He’ll miss this weekend’s All-Star games, but will be at Purdue full-time upon his return. He’s already moved in to his on-campus residence.
