Purdue lands its third Class of 2024 commitment: Raleigh Burgess
Immediately following the close of the spring evaluation period, Purdue struck for its third commitment for the 2024 class: Cincinnati Sycamore forward/center Raleigh Burgess.
The Consensus four-star prospect chose Purdue over Virginia, among others. Before suffering the leg injury that cut short his junior season, Burgess was offered by Ohio State, Indiana, Texas, Wisconsin, Iowa, Stanford, Xavier and a litany of others. (Burgess is expected back on the court in June.)
He made a series of visits to Purdue during his junior year, including an official visit during the season.

A high-energy and versatile big with inside-outside skill, the 6-foot-9 Burgess joins forward/wing Kanon Catchings and guard/forward Jack Benter in a 2024 Purdue class that could push to five. Current roster dynamics suggest Purdue might look to add an additional big man as well as a guard.
Burgess is a grassroots teammate of long-time Purdue backcourt target Travis Perry as well as center Flory Bidunga.
More on Burgess’ commitment to come.
